Antique Pewter Trophy Mug Dated 1872

Antique pewter double handle trophy mug dated May 4th, 1872. As was fashionable at that time, this mug has a glass bottom. It is beautifully inscribed "Ravenscourt Park Club, Athletic Sports, May 4th, 1872, Pulling the Weight Won By A. T. Michell". It is also engraved with the image of a raven. This mug shows some wear and has a beautiful patina to the pewter. It measures approx. 8" across handle to handle. It measures 6 1/8" tall and 4 7/8" across the bottom.
