Antique Chinoiserie Tea Caddy With Pewter Inserts C.1820

Antique Chinoiserie Tea Caddy from the 1820's with original pewter inserts and lids. The removable pewter inserts have double lids. One set of lids has what appears to be be ivory or bone knobs and the top lids are pewter with engraved scenes. This beautiful tea caddy is laquerer black with gold hand painted oriental scenes. This is a rare and beautiful tea caddy. It measwures approx. 9 1/2" wide by 7" deep and 4 3/4" tall.
