Set of 2 antique English Staffordshire plates made by Charles Meigh between 1851 and 1861. These plates are labeled "Porcelain Opaque CM". They appear to be ironstone. The background is mulberry transfer-printed - then beautifully handpainted with fuschia and gold details.
